Many view designing tri-fold brochures as a boring task, but as a designer my professor challenged me to take a “boring” format & find a way of making it unique. The challenge was utilizing photos that I took and finding interesting new ways of integrating them with the text. Since I live close to Boston I decided to take a day and go to the Downtown Crossing to take some original photography. For colors, I chose to use orange being that orange is a prominent color in the downtown crossing area, and blue as a complementary color. Though a simple, I learned a lot about taking photos and hot to incorporate them into my work.
